"Wait, what time is soccer?" — sent at 6:47pm.
The babysitter is already at your house. You're at dinner. The kid is supposed to be at soccer in 13 minutes. The Google Calendar share email you sent two months ago hasn't been touched. Nobody is having a good time.
Cozi has no share-link concept at all. FamilyWall buries it three menus deep behind a paywall. Google Calendar's solution is "make the sitter an editor of your entire calendar," which is hilariously wrong. We built the warm version.
Tap Share. Pick "Babysitter." Text it.
Settings → Family → Share has a "Babysitter" mint button. Pick how many days (1 / 3 / 7 / 14), tap Share — your phone's native share sheet opens with the link pre-filled. The link routes to a public read-only page that bypasses auth (token-gated, of course).
The sitter sees: a "Shared by Mom 💛 · visible until 9pm tonight" header, a list of every appointment in the window with tap-to-expand maps, tonight's dinner from the meal plan, every kid's photo + their visible events, and a tap-to-navigate button that opens their phone's Maps app.
- One link, auto-expiring — daysAhead is clamped to 1–14, tokens are 24-byte URL-safe random
- Tap-to-expand maps — embedded Google Maps + "Get directions" button per appointment
- Drive-time hints — server-side enrichment from your saved "Home" pin (Plus families only — sitters of free families just see the agenda)

This is the actual sitter share flow: open the link, tap an appointment, the map expands, tap "Get directions" — it opens Apple Maps or Google Maps on the sitter's phone. The whole flow is real. The locations are real (Berkeley/Oakland addresses). The sitter never needs to log in.

- Auto-expire at the daysAhead window — sitter loses access at midnight on day N
- Rotate mints a fresh token and invalidates the old one instantly
